Here comes AJ!! Enjoy!!!! No wait I do have a question. What has been the biggest challenge or surprise for you doing a comic? For me it has been that I wasted a lot of time drawing pin ups thinking it would help telling a story.That's just not true. Also how important using references are. I am interested in hearing from you

i wasted time with pin ups too. I use a lot of reference pictures from magazines and books

The biggest time waster for me was not writing my story first before drawing the panels. Making a comic as you go seems to be a bad approach to comic creation.

Yes that is a great point. I wont say that I have the issue written down BUT I do thumb nail all the pages and have the over view with side notes whats going on. If I would change my approach I think I will write down the dialogue.

I outline ten full issues ahead of time...then as I start drawing I may change things as I go along...writing ahead always makes things go easier for me
